I finally installed my Nextel hands free system in my truck and am very pleased.

Really simple installation and the speaker will walk the dog if you have the volume up! I have been told that the mic picks up really well with very very little background noise, even when I have the window down.

I purchased the system from a discount Nextel supplier for about 15% less than what Nextel sells the exact same package.

I am very pleased and very surprised.

Good to hear it's working out for you. I want to try one of those Jabra hands free headsets........you clip a transmitter on your belt next to your cell phone and plug it in..........then it's wireless.

for your guys info and anyone else thinking about switching to Nextel. I have a girl that sells for Nextel and through me you can get (if I don't have these numbers backwards) 30% off the service plan price and 35% off the phone. I am getting unlimited calls nationwide for 139.00. I think it is 200 regular price. I also paid 80 for the phone. If interested shoot me an email. the only catch is you will start off with a ohio area code and you will have to call nextel to switch your number to your home state. not a bad deal.
