Nice.I love the part about we will beat any price.

To me it sounds like they are a low baller. I will never go out there and say i will beat a competitors price. I know just what i need to keep my business running and I know I am not willing to cut someones throat just to make a dollar. I guess it is what it is though. Good luck anyway

I saw a tree trimming company the other day working in a neighborhood. All the logo's on the truck said "Cheap Tree Trimming". i actually think it was the name of their business. Funny thing is, they had nice trucks and equipment and everything had great wraps. Personally I would never advertise that I was cheap but to each his own. Seems like a lot of companies do it down here. Maybe I should start adverising " Expensive Roof Cleaning and Pressure Washing", and see how it goes. hahaha!

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.

We are still in "construction mode" for our site. So any comments are more than welcome.

But, in our area, you really need to be willing to be extremely competitive with the sheer amount of like companies. That is why we opened the site by saying;

"We strive to provide our clients with superior services at the best prices." Instead of opening with we will beat competitor's prices.

It's about logical progression in combination with careful word usage.

Larry, do you remember the place in Clearwater that now houses the origional Hooters. It used to be called, "Worlds Worst Pizza". They sold a ton of Pizza's, until a company named Domino's came to town and DELIVERED pizza's for like 8$, guaranteed in under 30 minutes.

I am not going to do a roof for $8.00 and I am positive that I cannot get one done in under 30 minutes. Hahaha!

When you state that you will beat anyone's price and the small print says the company has to be licensed and insured, what I have heard is that there are a lot of companies there without licenses and insurance so when the company lies to try to get the job and gives a lowball price, you will have to go and lower your price, lower than the lowballer so how is that helping the industry there?

Sure you are getting some more work but lowering the prices and ruining the market. Next few years when it is time to clean the roof they will want the price the same or lower so another lowballer will lower it more and then when you get there, you will have to do it cheaper than last time.

I am sure that chemical prices, insurance, fuel, labor, etc.....goes up some every year, not down.

So, when you say that you will beat anyone's prices, do you see how that can slowly put you into a very low if any profit range over the years to come?

Just my opinion, you run your business how you see fit. By the way, how long have you been in business?

Good luck.

I did the same thing as this guy when I started out and I soon found out that I will not be in business no more than a year If I didn't change my prices. I am worth more than a $100.00 house wash. This company is built for the long haul. I hope you change your business structure and charge the right way.

We have a few companies around here that tries to provide MANY services to property owners and they tell them...oh and we ALSO do pressure washing. I believe I have a huge advantage over them since I am a specialist and ONLY do pressure washing.

I to have a big back ground in all phases of construction. I can trim out a house, paint a house build a deck or build a house from the ground up. My wifes grand father who is very wealthy and very business savvy told me to drop doing everything and start perfecting and making your business about one specialty. I chose the pressure washing aspect and haven't looked back since. I give other people who need work the construction work and in return they give me all the pressure washing work they get. It sort of works out well. I'm not telling you what to do but most home owners want a quality pressure washing company who only specializes in pressure washing. I guess that's the reason my customers are willing to pay me $200.00 when other companies are doing the same house for $75.00. They know at the end of the day I will make enough money to afford the insurance I need to take care of them in case something ever does happen. There is no way that a company that charges between $75.00 and $100.00 for a house was can afford insurance they need or the licenses needed to be doing this the right way. I don't mean to harp on you but you just came out of the gate a bit to cocky. I am sure your a nice guy and everything and are just excited about owning your business. I found that these guys here are the best in the business. I am doing my best to give them the respect they deserve and in return I am learning so much about this business it's not even funny. good luck on all your business ventures.
