No Downsteaming Action

In the last week or so, I haven't been able to pick-up chemicals.

I cleaned out my adjustable d/s injector, tried using a new fixed injector, replaced all o-rings, bought a new gun and adjustable dual lance. My unloader seems to be working okay... still a trickle of water going back into the tank out of bypass.

The TS2021 doesn't have a ton of hrs. on it, with no vibes in the hose and otherwise it seems to be working okay with my 13hp Honda. I've however, noticed some erratic fluctuations in pressure in the past few weeks. I was thinking THAT might be caused by a worn-out unloader?

I plan on getting the machine on a pressure gauge, and possibly replacing the unloader after the week-end...

I just had a scarey thought about a possible coil restriction...

I've heard a few horror stories about de-scaleing, and i'm dreading that with 2,000 hrs. on my coil!

Also, the outside of the coil is filthy black. I'm sure a can of Red Devil is long overdue.

Any suggestions?

You need to check the volume of water your machine putting out.

How much hose are you using?

Just ran the machine and filled up several buckets... 5GPM w/o injector and 5GPM w/ the injector.

Both injectors are in the right direction, running 50' of pressure hose and 6' of chemical hose. Also tryed a new strainer, as well as w/o.

2 gallons and a 1/2 bottle of Dawn, and not a single bubble!

Have you taken the injector totally apart? I have had an ring from where the ball seats plug the intake orifice. I have also had the intake hose get plugged with powder.

He said he tried a new injector so it has to be something else.
Like mentioned earlier, bypass the reel and change guns.
Also try running the machine with no gun and the and the ball valve wide open.

All good suggestions...

Upon further inspection, i noticed a few drops coming from where the nipple of the coil meets the 90* elbow of the "steam valve" thingy, right before the injector?

I'm off to HD to grab some new plumbing and another roll of Teflon tape, to see if that helps.

We Have Bubbles!

Apparently, the problem was at the nipple coming out of the coil. It was just a couple of drips within a minute or so. I've had much more leakier o-rings before, but was still able to draw chems?

Both and injectors are working, as well as both wands.

Okay, back to work now...

Thanks Guys!!!
