Being that I don't own a surface cleaner yet is there a nozzle that I can use to do a good job and make things go along a bit quicker a.k.a. ( some sort of turbo nozzle?). Not sure if there is gum but I have to do an estimate for a dinner. His cement front walkway and 9 parking spots.

Rent or Buy a surface cleaner...if u are going to be in this buisness a surface cleaner is the one thing that will make u money.

Ok I took the plunge and ordered a whisper classic....jobs are only coming in for me very slowlyI have a professional website and I hand out postcards and flyers and my phone don't ringThis is my first year in bizz and was not looking to buy a surface cleaner because I invested over 10 grand so far And made back about 2g. BUt I bought it and that's it...Any advise for a first time user? Should be getting it on MOnday

Don't sit back and wait for the phone to ring. Make good use of your time at night by reading and doing research. During the day start knocking on doors. Make sure your vehicle is all lettered and looks good. If you are out making calls you will be visible and people will start to call. Sales Calls = Phone Calls = Jobs = Visibility = Referrals = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

My rig and my truck are a beautiful combo, that's one thing I don't do is drive around with the rig attached and just knock on a dirty door and be ready right there and then. I just felt funny lugging my trailer with no where to go, but there are some awnings I would like to clean so I guess I'll hook up,roll and knock

You don't necessarily have to pull your rig, however, it can be a great conversation piece. You are probably not going to get commercial work to do on the spot when you call on them, but you might be able to get residential work on the weekends by driving through neighborhoods and talking to people working in their yards. What ever you do don't sit back and wait for it to come to you.

Get plenty of practice w that surface srubber and make sure you know what you can use it on and what you can't. You don't want to cause damage like this. Hack City Pro Wash.JPGHack City Concrete Cleaning.JPG
