"I just "learned" that our way of roof cleaning is bad for roofs!
That's right, it says so right here http://www.roof-bright.com/page4.shtml

This is no problem, because I was born Catholic.

Next time I go to confession, I shall ask God to forgive me ~~~~"

This thread really cracks me up! Hey Chris, I just sent them an e-mail with these three links.

Did you know that in most instances the roofs "stain warranty" has become null and void. Roofs are replaced for multiple reasons but when the home is sold...roof warranty is just a piece of paper. I haven't seen one that was transferable and if it is, they only will cover the smallest of percentages for correcting the situation.

My lawyer, accountant, and insurance agent advised me to do what works for me, and as long as I'm not ruining things....I'm free and clear to do my business. Its all in interpretation. Label says....so I our butts are covered.

Just don't promise something that can't be delivered or in poker terms....called on.

Hey, here's something controversial for you!
My OWN personal belief is that Sodium Hydroxide roof cleaners do not really hurt roofs all that bad.

It is the PRESSUE needed to rinse that stuff off, and having to walk all over the roof twice that does the most damage IMHO.

I know, I know, Theory would dictate that Soduim Hydroxide would remove the "TAR" from Asphalt, but many roofs are now using a Fiberglass Mat!

I just think that using chlorine/water/TSP is faster and safer for the roof.

Because I have only cleaned roofs all these years, I have done it every way imaginable, even using other exotic methods I haven't talked about yet.

Actually, I helped a chemical supply company develop a sodium hydroxide/potassium hydroxide/NP 9 surfactant based roof cleaner!

I field tested it, and made suggestions, and they listened.

I get an inquiry per week from my web site from people wanting to get into roof cleaning.

Some just can't get the good, inexpensive chlorine llike we are blessed with here in Florida.

Ya gotta do what works for you.

I LOVE real Cuban Cigars, WHEN I can get them!

Unfortunately, I smoke what I can get ....
