I am new to pressure washing, atleast the correct way that is.
Tell me what you think of my local pressure washing stores quote on this setup.

5x10 single axle trailer, jack/wheel 15inch tires and rims, 12' expanded
Metal rails, 2 inch ball
3500 psi, 4gpm,ar pump, 13 hp honda with 4 tips (as if that matters)
125 gallon tank with bands
Plumbing ki for tank
Titan hose reels, aluminum end panels, PVC core, Super swivel lock and drag
Complete trailer unit
$4,300

Price excellent, good, fair, run for the hills?
Equipment?

Average Price for what you said:
5x10 Trailer = $1,000
3500 PSI, 4GPM, Cold Pressure Washer = $1500
125 Water Tank with Bands = $250
2 Titan Hose Reel = $600
I'm sure there will be some misc items like a hose and the plumbing
add $200-$300??
= $3650

They get $650 to set things up. Plus your getting no discount for buying a complete trailer unit.

Price between Fair and Run for the Hills I think.

I am new to this scene. What wold you suggest as equipment needed to do esidential only for a set up and pricing? Low pressure/softwashing

K.J's unit is a steal!! It has the 20hp Honda Motor also. If you can afford it, I would try and purchase a hot water unit so you can always expand to different work instead of just doing residental. Even though if you do sidewalks or driveway cleanings hot water cleans much better.

The unit that you were looking as is an okay unit for starting up. Maybe look for a trailer locally and talk to Bob at PressureTek about the rest. You can probably save money doing it this way and Bob won't take advantage of you.

I would go with the deal that KJ has. Way better price and has a surface cleaner and is ready to go for both residential and commercial.

You would outgrow that other trailer within a year or less and then need to get a 5.5 gpm machine or bigger.

1500 for that pressure washer is high

i bought a 13 hp 3750 4.0 pressure washer comes w/ hose, gun, tips for 600$ so i picked 2 of them up for 1200 lol but 4.0 gal is bs so im investing into a 8gpm hydrotek that has the option to put 2 guns on it, pressure doesnt mean much in most cases.. its all about gpm.. but i guess when u do need the pressure ,cold water is a +... i only suggest getting cold water if u dont have much money and u are starting off. people can say what they want about home depot, but the fact of the matter is, if u buy your cold water pressure in winter they cut the prices in half.. so 3750psi 4.0 gpm isnt bad for 600 bucks, good for a back up machine..

Hi guys, Im new here and this is one of my first posts. Im looking to start up in springtime this year and hope to GROW the buisness (not just earn a paycheck) and learn everything i possibly can.....that being said I havent seen any positive feedback on home depot or lowes machines. I do agree with you though in the wintertime the prices are slashed in half because i almost bought a dewalt machine from them for 250 regularly prices 800. but decided against it until i learned more and boy am i glad i didnt do it. Everywhere i read it says to stay away from their machines, they arent made to be used everyday....your going to be replacing parts almost every other week. They are not made for commmercial use they are made for the homeowner who wants to do it himself/herself every year. you know"stuff around the house"
