Why do other bb's turn off there access for us to review there member list. What is that. Are they afraid that someone will steel there members......Please.....

I go on around 5 bb's that are related to this industry and two of them don't allow you to review there member list. Delco's I don't know if they have a member list but the other ones do and they don't let us view them.

I like to check them out once in awhile to see if some people are not posting anymore etc. I look at this like this is a club and I like to see what happen to some of the people who stopped posting and what they are up to such as a guy named Kevin a fiew years back on a couple of bb's who gave up on his business in the end. I would check to see if he ever came back.

I would also like to see if I would ever get into striking distance as to the amount of post I do compared to JON for example.(Not likely even though he is slowing down as of late. Could it be post burn out syndrome? Or is it that he's to tired. lol)

Either way whatever club etc. that I ever joined YOU always new who your fellow members are and to block this is doesn't make any sense unless your afraid of something.

People will post on the bb's they like the best anyway and to think that anyone will lose members to there bb so they have to block the member function is only hurting themselves.

Just a thought(Uh OH I can hear Ron breathing down my back)

Yel O kevin seemed to be having a hard time making it in this business,he ask alot of Q'tions man and we all tried to help him,I sorta like the man,I ask about him last year and never got apply as to where or what he was doing.Maybe his carpet business pickup and he forgot about the powerwashing business,atleast I hope so.

It doesn't matter to me on the mem'ber list,I'd like to see state and city where they are from under their name in the post.
 
I agree about information being posted. If you are trying to make repairs on a machine it is much easier to talk with someone on the phone unless you have a laptop computer next to your pressure washer. I thought the whole purpose of these boards was to HELP PEOPLE. If I wanted to sell my knowledge I would have a pay by the minute phone number for you to call. When you try to help people it always comes back to you. Thanks Ron for this board. I have talked with quite a few people on this board and I hoped I helped them. I learned some things through the school of hard knocks and try to help others avoid them. I appreciate every time someone answers a post.

The excuses for not turning them on will be because others and myself are stealing their business. All here are welcome to e-mail anyone they like. If members are getting to much junk they can control their e-mail by turning it off themselves.


Do you really want to know what I think it’s about?

As you know things have loosened up on other BBS as a result of this one opening. I’m glad that others have noticed the differences.


The Bottom line is you run this BB as a membership and corporations and individuals run the others. It’s that simple they are restrictive and they need to be to keep their customers.


We are not trying to make a living off this BBS, we have put it up and are taking a tax deductions. Besides the cost is ridiculously low.
