Here's a few pictures from washing a 100 year old retired post office building. Took me forever because I could not get any good help. But I got it done...... finally... Full reclaim on the job... pain in the ass. But came out great.

Great job Mike, I was going to ask the same thing, did you use something like Safe Restore.

Yes. Safe restore, it worked great.

The job turned out great.

I was going to guess SafeRestore, that is a great product.

How long did the job take?

Hey Chris did you win the hose roll up again?:winknudge:

I did not win, these guys are a lot faster than I was.

I was hoping that I could win but like they say, there is someone right around the corner that is younger and faster.

It was a good contest, lots of guys, 3 events then a final.

I am hoping that someone has it on video.

This is an impressive job! Does the dirty water go through filters or it just gets back to the tank? How long of vacuboom hose did you use for the job? Is your reclaim system custom or you purchased it from one of the vendors? And last, but not least, what's the price of the safe-restore chem and what is the coverage per gallon?

I am sorry for all these questions, just extremely curious. I am looking forward to add a reclaim unit in the near future.

Thanks!

D.

On this job we just reclaimed and we did not send it through any filters, just hauled to the our dump site.

I used about 20 feet of vacuboom.

The reclaim system is a Sirocco rReclaim system which by the way I am a distributor for so if you have any more questions about this reclaim system just call me or PM, I would be happy to help in anyway that I can. Im only saying this because I noticed you said you were adding a reclaim in the near future.

As far as the Safe Restore depends how you buy it. I was getting mine from a place in Rode Island for about $15.40 a gallon when I get a 55 gallon drum, and about $21.20 a gallon in 5 gallon pails. They say coverage can be anywhere from 150sf-250sf per gallon.

Thanks all for the comments!!

Nice Work. How much did you have to pay per gallon to dispose of the waste water? You might want to check with your local POTW. They should be able to give you a permit so you can run the water through an oil water separator, some filters and discharge to the city sewer. Isn't it funny how unemployment is at an all time high yet we all struggle with finding decent help.

Very nice work

Safe Restore works pretty well but I think Prosoco's limestone restorer works faster and it's cheaper.

Good info Henry, looking forward to an invitation to your next building wash
