Poly braid hose kinking

Mount your filter in a fixed location and make the hose no longer that necessary keeping the hose as straight as possible. Another thing you can do is create a loop in the hose and tie (or tape) it off to itself, this will help reenforce the hose.

Just an example.

I would re- route it so that it doesn't have to make such a u turn. Yes this would probably involve using a longer feed line.

I agree, get rid of that hose, when the pump is pulling hard, that soft walled hose will kink easily, especially on hot days and we are not even in the hottest part of the year yet.

Get some thick walled hose or the kind with the wire running through it, that clear polybraid collapsed with my rig in the past so I changed it out and went with larger diameter hose so the pump would not cavitate.

I would also get a larger filter screen, that one is kind of small and if you get a good amount of trash in the line, that one will clog up fast. There are the big blue bowl types out there that many guys have gone to, myself included that are basically the same thing but many times larger for more surface to clog up giving you more run time.

There are many threads about this on this forum if you want to see what other guys have rigged up.

We use tiger flex its very rigid and last a very long time, give me a call if you need some also I would make the hose a larger diameter then reduce it t the machine

simplest fix.. install a 90 degree hose barb. best fix.. replumb for dual-feed. .. and Ron's idea of adding Garden Hose connection for pressure feed will save you LOTS of troubleshooting time on an otherwise bad day. .. .. and of course.. come to my pressure washer troubleshooting and bulletproofing class.

There are a lot of right answers on this thread. I use non-collapsing 1" line to all of my machines. I try and keep the hose as short as possible, but it doesn't work, because of how the truck is set up. We have had zero feed problems, or pump problems since I got rid of those darn AR pumps.
