Just wondering how you guys handle heavily oxidized pool cage frames? I had to cancel a cleaning today because I was afraid of the paint just running right off. I rubbed one of the beams with my finger and it was chalk city. The last one I started doing like that, I had to stop immediately and inform the customer that the structure was too oxidized and everywhere there was algae and mold, the paint came right off. Is there a way to clean these? without watching the paint run down the beams. I am using a soft wash nozzle and regular house wash mix. I am getting frustrated because I am at the point I don't want to even do them anymore, but I am afraid I will lose some driveways if I don't. I think I've turned down 40% of pool cages because of stupid oxidized painted aluminum.
