If its sodium hydroxide don't use it. You will only have problems with it.

We stay clear of any powered products when it comes to roof cleaning. Liquid only. Too many problems with powdered anything. Clumping, settling, clogging lines and pumps etc... Make life easier on yourself and stay clear of powders. Trust me. Time is money. You don't want to be spending your time messing around with powders.

I don't recommend it. No since making it harder ham it has to be.
