Pressure gauge mounting?

Does it matter if I mount the gauge on the head itself of can I mount it on the outlet side off a Tee where the other side of tee goes to the gun. If it needs to go right on the head which port do I need to tie into. TSF2021 pump.

Let me rephrase that. The tee is on the outlet of the unloader.

On the pump head you will see 3 bolts above the 8 allen wrench bolts for the head. Take the center bolt out and mount it there, that is where Sirocco Jerry mounted mine for me.

That was one of the defective gauges I bought a year ago.

On my 8gpm machine I have it on the head like mentioned above, on the Hotsy I have it on a "T" where the jumper from the pump goes to the unloader.
