Pressure Pump

Hey Guys.....I have a job that's coming up and the contractor wants me to spray down a large commercial building roof top just to get loose paint and dirt off before he paints it.....The question is, he told me that I had to modify my pressure washer before I could do this....he said with a couple hundred feet or so of pressure hose out and with it being up around thirty feet to the top of the roof that the machine wouldn't spray properly
without modifying something on the washer....is there anything to this. Thanks......Sammie
 
I'm not the pressure washer expert, but I don't see any problem with that, you may lose some pressure but it shouldn't be enough to affect you.
I run with similar circumstance all the time.
I think the highest I have gone is 8 or 9 stories with at least 200 ft. of hose
 
Thanks guys.....I couldn't see where I had to change anything either....may the guy he was talking about had a 5 h.p. briggs on a sludge pump:D Thanks for the replies.....Sammie
