Preventative maintenance for equipment

I am looking for some advise on routine/preventative maintenance for my pressure washer. I have a 1 1/2 year old Tuff superskid with roughly 250 hours on it. Similar to a car, I assume my pressure washer should have some regular maintenance, but I don't know what that would involve and how much it should cost. I have a basic understanding of an engine, so I have changed the oil, but that's where it stops. I have done nothing with the pump, burner, unloader, etc... I plan on taking my machine into a shop to have the work done, but I want to know what to ask for and what kind of price I should be expecting. Any information would be helpful. If anyone knows a good shop in the Chicagoland area, that would be helpful also! Thanks for your time.

first thing, buy an hour meter. They take 2 min to install and are cheap.
250 hrs is not much.
I would de-scale the coil.[use a sep. pump dont go through your pressure pump.]
have them look at and adj. the burner[air band]
look at the electrode's and adj
Check and tighten the belt's
Use the GOOD pressure guage [not the $15 kind] to check your pump pressure to see if it could use a re-build.[you should'nt unless you ran it dry]
chack and adj the valve's in the engine. New plug's,air filter, oil change[both pump and motor]
Check the chargeing system and battery.
Make sure your unloader is set properly.
Maybe de-soot your coil.
This is everything ive done this week of heavy rain.

HYDROTEK PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:
While your pressure washer has been produced with quality materials and craftsmanship, you as the owner have certain responsibilities for the correct care of the equipment. Attention to regular preventative maintenance procedures will assist in preserving the performance of your equipment. Contact your Hydro Tek dealer for maintenance. A small investment in preventative maintenance will add many hours to the life of your pressure washer. Perform maintenance more often under severe conditions. Do not spray high-pressure water onto the machine. Not all maintenance items apply to all machines.
