If anything Ron, reposting that joke of an ad will only reconfirm that those are the actual prices to pay for professional pressure washing and roof cleaning here in Tampa.

We cleaned a roof, driveway and a small patio on the side of a womans house this past week. The neighbor to the left of her hired another guy to clean their tile roof which was a terricotta( red) colored roof. My customer called me yesterday and asked if we could come back out to clean the side of her house and patio again. Apparently the other cleaner got red oxidation all over the patio and the side of her house. She found out that he is not even licensed and doesn't want him on her property. Needless to say the ho who had his roof done cheap is now paying the bill from me to come clean up his cheap contractors mess.
I have a million of those stories, great job Larry.
Never pays to save when it's ridiculously low. There's always going to be some corners cut!!

I really think pricing is low in Tampa for Roof Cleaning & Concrete cleaning

It is not just Tampa that you see prices like that polk has painters, lawn guys and house keepers charging low prices. Becuase of the weather down here every one and anyone will add pressure washing & roof cleaning on as service that is running down what we are able to charge.
I have to agree with Chris Francis, I see mostly lawn guys offering pressure washing to their service in my area.
About two weeks ago I got done doing a house wash and the neighbor next to the home owner asked me how much would it cost to do his driveway and sidewalk. I looked at his driveway and sidewalk and gave the gentlemen a fair price n he said, let's do it. About that time a lawn company pulled up to do the yards across the street. I setup my equipment and started cleaning. Thirty mintues later, I'm pretty much done and started to wrap things up. Well, one of the lawn guys comes over to me and asked if he could use my "yellow driveway cleaner." I'm like, "I'm sorry... use my yellow driveway cleaner???" Meaning my whisper surface cleaner. Apparently, not only were these guys cutting the grass they were also trying to pressure wash the driveway. He said, he couldn't believe how fast I'd cleaned it, and wanted to use it on his customers driveway. I said, "I'm sorry man, but I'm heading home! Good luck tho!" I wasn't trying to be mean, but there was NO WAY IN HELL I was going to let some random person use my equipment to finish someone else's job!

Back when I started this thread in 2008 as an example of Roof Cleaning Cost here in the Tampa Florida area, it was mainly to show that cleaning contractors who underprice their services don't survive very long.
Our primary business is cleaning roofs. It is very very different from pressure washing. The same customer who will shop every pressure washer in Tampa, until he finds one desperate enough to clean the driveway for 50 dollars, is MUCH more particular about who they want to clean their roof!
We find that many Tampa area roof cleaning customers DO their homework, and many of them choose us. One reason why we have been in business mainly cleaning roofs ONLY here in the Tampa area nearly 20 years.
LOL, at the last Tampa NCE Roundtable, a fellow cleaning contractor and I were having a beer. He said "Chris, I can hardly believe you have survived just cleaning roofs in Tampa, and doing nothing else. I just smiled and said " We survive just cleaning roofs in Tampa, because that is all we do" !
We have never wanted to be all things to all people, just the very best at one thing only, and that one thing is cleaning roofs.
Like my friend Larry, we do not fix roof leaks. That is a job for a Tampa Florida Roofing Contractor. Like Larry, the roofers fix the roofs, we clean them.
We have always felt, if you want a really good steak, you go to a dedicated steakhouse.
If you want good BBQ in Tampa, you go to a dedicated BBQ place.
You can't imagine how many times customers have hired us, because we ONLY clean roofs. In fact, I just wrote up a big tile roof up in Tampa Palms this week. The customer is an attorney, a specialist in labor litigation. He came right out and said "I am a specialist in my branch of Law, and I wanted someone to clean my roof here in Tampa Palms who is a specialist in roof cleaning only"
He told me, unsolicited, that the other companies he called "made him a little nervous" because they cleaned everything!
The cleaning of roofs only has been my business model for nearly 20 years. I was always taught to "do one thing, and do it well, and the world will beat a path to your door".
It works for me
