pump wont pickup

i have a hotsy belt driven machine, it was working fine blew out the coil and pump with air and was going to put anti freeze in it and i cant get it to suck the water from the bucket. i also tried holding a funnel above the inlet and pouring it in, it still wouldnt take it. but i did force feed it from a garden hose and it went through the pump. is there a way to maybe bleed it or something? or is it probally something else. thanks for any help
 
Check the soap valve. Close it. Check all of the clamps. Sounds like it is sucking air. Force feed the pump. Run it with no gun just the hose.
 
Well, did you find the problem? :confused:

thanks for the help, i think i found the problem i put a new hose and two new hose clamps in between the filter and the unloader and it seems to be working now. i had another company charge me for two hours to look at it and they couldnt figure it out
