Purchasing New Equipment ~ Advice Needed

I just unloaded my business account to build a commercial rig for flatwork and gas stations. I did a lot of looking around and found Powerwash store to have the best deal. I saved about 4k putting it all together myself with a couple friends. For oilfield work you will need those big tanks, but fore everything else you can get by with 200 gallons. Also, know that you will need diesel engine to work in the oilfields. No need for double axle in my opinion. I got a stellar deal on a new trailer at Texas Trailer Supply, which is in your backyard. They really like cash. Craigslist has some good deals on all the accessories you'll need. It's easy to go overboard in buying equipment and chemicals. Heat is great, but unnecessary. I scrap most gum off by hand. I washed houses for a year with a little generac machine that I carted out of the back of my truck. It worked and low overhead. I sometimes wonder why I didn't just stick with that business model....

I've called them and will be getting some numbers next week. Thanks

$10k you can get a gas 8 gpm machine + burner + trailer + tank(s).

The only way option 1 does not surge is if it has 2 pumps and 2 burners, 1 pump/burner per wand. 35 hp is a high number for the output of that machine. I have a 35hp briggs 3300 hours, no leaks, just filters/plugs/oil changes just sayin. I wouldn't do a briggs though, kohler would be my choice.

Don't know what your water situation is, ie need to bring or you can get it on site, but it's easier to hual and fill less then add more water later. You need to understand what is needed and required for the work you are chasing.

Honestly go gas pressure washer and as big of trailer and tank as you think you need. Take the pressure washer off later and put it on the 450 that you are looking to get down the line with the small tank. Put the big or dual wand pressure washer on the trailer where the first one was and start making 2x the money with the 2 units. This also allows you to build up your customer base and have less debt to payoff while you are starting.

Everybody wants the ultimate rig and to cover all the bases when you start, problem is you are starting out with hopes and dreams and those don't pay the bills for the new rig. I went 3.5 years on 4.5 gpm, 600 us gallon tank, with a small burner and made 10x + what the rig+equipment cost and built up a good customer base and idea what I needed for equipment.

Thanks for your Advice Benjamin ~ I will take that into consideration....very helpful !
