Lou these orgs change people and hands each year, often operational problems exist. Truly not fair of you to say you called and never got and answer. You have recently said that in a few posts, that has gotten Jackie in hot water with her boss. Truly not fair, I'm glad your making it clear its not this adminstration that has not returned your call.

Sounds like a disaster out of an Ayn Rand book.
That being said, I didn't join for the good of the industry. My reasons were purely selfish. But, as has been proven over and over, selfish motives in business are typically mutually beneficial.
I've seen the PWNA logo on some of my competitors who are not listed on the website. Beyond that, they do a terrible job...
Obviously there is some work to do. I'll do my best to prepare to serve my time in the near future.

My apologizes, to Jackie for the grief she may be experiencing. and yes the call I placed was years ago. I certain it was prior to our falling out.

You say it's not fair to say I never got a call back? So you'd rather I lie?

Not mentioning the years that have gone by in earlier post was my mistake.
I certain I mentioned back when I first called. I remember waiting with anticipation back then, I'll have to search for the post.

I believe it back around the time Russ Spence had a turd posting fetish :wacko:

Mine wasn't years ago. It was recently that I didn't get returned calls. I tried for two months to join thru their website and not one single email was replied to. When she finally called me back, after I posted here, it was at 9pm. Why should I care if someone gets in trouble because they don't do their job? Her boss? He was condescending to me and I was a paying customer, so she shouldn't pay any attention to him.

Thats a Legit problem, big difference from saying I didnt get a call back and it was three years ago. Three years ago no one answered the phone and they where almost BK.

Jackie is human and should take it on the Chin if she doesnt take care of business.

I think they might have problems soon because she about ready to have a Baby. Will be dealing with someone new for awhile so a new learning curve will go on.

I think Ron Musgraves has hit this nail on the head in the past. Have the vendors/Dist. pay a certain fee and that can go up as the org. grows because they can have a huge benny by the org. having so many members. Also charge the Contractor members a very minimal fee so they can market there org. membership and the more contractors you have doing that the more known the org. becomes. Now you have a large base and with that so many more things can happen in a positive way for the members and the industry as a whole.

As for charging members by what there annual gross is I think the IWCA use to do that(They may still be doing that but I'm not up to date with them). Thats an interesting idea but once again some may lie about there gross and personally I don't think an org. has any business in knowing what your Gross or net is.

Hey Ron...You may have missed this because you look at many post and respond alot so this may fly right by you and understandably so but if you catch this post.....Spill the beans. Look at the above post that I put in this thread. You've been around along time in this industry. Whats the answer for these org's in your mind?? What do you think will blow away the industry to get a group that can make some difference thats beneficial to the members and the industry as a whole thru an org?

A group is always way more powerful and always makes a difference then 1 person out there trying to do it on there own. So whats the answer Ron in your opinion.

John, I think people know ny opinion and ideas. I cannot start the org, if Carlos has done it right the UAMCC could have been that ORG. He was on a good Path, if the UAMCC had got rid or membership and charged dist the org would be very powerful and the funds would have come through other means.

Programs within the org, allowing contractors choices?
