Be glad you don't have the money the first real washer I bought wash a karcher.1000 headaches later I bought a hydrotek very wise choice was made.

I had the opportunity to buy a REALLY nice rig last year, when I had just gotten out of the lawn business and had sold my mower. 8 GPM 110 volt Hydrotek with low hours on a giant dual axle trailer with brakes, 500 gallon tank, reels, the works. I think I had him talked down from $3800 to $3200. I ended up staying away from it though. Because it ended up seeming too suspicious. He couldn't provide any proof of ownership of the trailer. No title, no tag, no registration, no nothing. Then I ended up spending most of that money to pay bills through the Winter. SMH.

That is a surge brake, the trailer company will put it on a trailer for you if you want to but not many want it because of how it works.

Not everyone out there that rents or buys a trailer has the 7 pin connector with a trailer brake controller mounted in their vehicle for the trailer brakes so this is what is installed for them so that they have brakes on the trailer to deal with the regulations for trailer brakes.

The standard 4 pin connector that most trucks have are only for the lights, no brakes but with a surge brake, just about anyone with a ball hitch on their vehicle can rent or purchase a trailer with a surge brake and be legal so if stopped for routine inspection or over-loaded where the front of the trailer is too low or back is too low or whatever the case may be for being stopped, the surge brakes will keep them from getting the fine for the brake regulation.

That's a shark unit. It looks bigger than mine, but doesn't have a generator. Can't be to old.

I pay 500 to 1100 for units like that all day. I check them out by simple asking the person , they do not know or often just hard up for food or rent. They tried hocking it and they wouldn't give the 500 so they figure if you give them a 1000 that's double what they would get.

I had a buddy in the rental business called beavins. His wife was stealing from him and dating other guys. He was embarrassed to admit what was going on. I caught him hocking equipment at a local place. He lost tractors work 1000's for a few hundred the pawn shop would give. I bought a bunch if his stuff in the ending days cheap, he had no choice couldn't feed family and wife destroyed credit.

Scott remembers the call a company called retail one I bought every washer they had for 500 each unit. Got a could spare pArt ones for 350 each. Coils worth that to me. It also was a going out of business sale. 8 units total, still have two of those going strong.

1000 is not hot. 400 is more like a hot number. I would still check the plate with dmv. If you talk about This and they stop talking then I would be suspicious.

Remember it's sad but our equipment used isn't worth much.

People in Iowa would refuse to sell a unit like that for less than $6k. I'm jealous of all the used stuff for sale down south but I'm not jealous of all your competition.

Turns out the ad is a "phishing scam". It's listed in multiple States and multiple Cities. 5 attempts at contact and only one response ... "Contact my husband at (another email address)."
