I Got a job for a red brick wall. 6ft high 200ft long. Its got twenty years worth of green (mildew I assume) that has now turned black. Any chemical/ or other suggestion. I havent done any brick work yet.
i would think about a MOSMATIC surface cleaner.
They now make hand held surface cleaners.
They are made to wash walls.
Then i would mix up liquid pool chlorine and Dawn dish soap. No water added. then put a mask on and apply it with a X-JET with the close range tip.
Then wash with HOT water.
It would go very fast.
Wanding will work also but the hand held surface cleaner is something i would like to try out.
to do those types of jobs i uasly just use hot water and a rotomax or 2505 depending on ihe integraty of the brick and mortor. this saves you the time and cost of applying chems. i have found i get the same results each way. chems are must if no hot water available.
What about bidding. I generally bid flat work .07/ft...do I bid the same way?
I dont have Hot water available either and Ill be applying chems with a pump up sprayer. (I dont have enough work for speed to be a factor yet just a few quality jobs and one at a time is my philosophy)
