It is with "some" regret that I have to offer my resignation as "mod" . And to be fair with all involved on this BB .
I just cant stand the comments and e-mail I recieve b/c of my "dialog" .If it was really that bad then why dont I get e-mail from the other BB .
This has it's own "click" of people and most of you post on many BB's .
I will not get into any names on the e-mails >> you know who you are .
Yes this BB sucks b/c of who is in charge we never did see eye to eye even when he was a "Marshall" . None of my post is good enough for the "almighty".

so I will step down b/c of conflict .
and post more @ PWN .
I never did understand why everybody thought and still thinks that this is # 1

there has been many factors leading to this so dont add words that dont belong .Dont claim to be # 1 when your not b/c sooner or later time will tell the truth.
It's not fair to hold a position on this BB and cut it down @ the same time .so in all fairness I will step off and try and change my "dialog" in the future so you can understand me.

take care and check me out @ the PWN. I will be hanging with the same crowd but different leader.
 
Dan, I ‘m really sorry that you feel that way. I’m also sorry that some folks sent you e-mails reprimanding you about your comments.
Yes this BBS is different and has many of the same folks with some new faces. I’m sorry you feel that there are issue with PWN and PWI. I don’t hate anyone in BBS land. I feel that those who say rude remarks and attack others are just people that cant control themselves and act professional.
I probably get the finger once in awhile while driving down the road. Do I get upset and display the same emotion? No because frankly I don’t care… not to sound like you leaving doesn’t matter to me but I have bigger issue with my own life. Most of us run businesses and spend our free time here helping others because we enjoy it. I don’t want to waist a bunch of my time with the subject. (I’m in the playoff with two teams and have all-stars following) then we start our club teams… I chose to help and I’m sure you still will help in other ways on other BBS.
About the #1 thing: you’re the only one that keeps focusing that we are not #1. I don’t even care anymore about this subject. I feel that we are number 1 and I’m supposed to feel that way. If your on PWN and you’re a supporter your suppose to feel that they are number 1. Does this really matter to anyone else? NO pride, pride, pride I’m proud to be associated with the BBS and I’m proud that we have a professional community that we can share information. I won’t stop being proud because everyone here is worth it.
I will accept your resignation and remove your name from the fleet moderator section of this BBS.
In closing Dan, I thank you for what you have contributed to this BBS. Keep posting on PWN and I’m sure I will still read your threads.

Well, just because you are not a moderator doesnt mean you can't visit/post. Dont let the words of a few scare you off. That's why the keyboard has a delete key.

It doesn't work. I've been trying to email him for weeks to tell him that I never received that book he was pushing, but it didn't work. No worries cause I already read the book and it's a good one, worth reading....

So if you read this Dan S, I never got your book, and good luck to you.

No the issue of the email not working was no intention to say that’s why you didn’t get any. I really was just wondering if it was working.


If you don’t like me as a person that’s fine Dan. I thought you where a different guy and I really didn’t mind you being in the community. I still don’t care about your remarks towards myself. (I can take it)


I will have only one warning as far as if you ever badger any else on this BBS. If will not be tolerated!!!! Take your frustrations out on me and only me.

Dan I was in the understanding you where a Christian? If my words have really offended you then I truly am sorry. I respect that you cannot support this BBS. That’s fine lets move on go and support PWN and will all be better people. (Trying to insult each other will only be bad for both community’s.) Sure some folks like the gossip and antics of daily drama. I myself really cant stand the fact that I try my hardest to make and environment that is interesting and informative and since I have done this I have made some enemies.

I will continue to Run this BBS the only way I know how. Through trial and error, I have made some mistake and pissed some off. It will happen again I’m sure and in no way will in be intentional.

Dan why do you say there are no issues then bring up Ron "Marshall"?

No issues means just that, I have nothing against others.

I personally have nothing against you nor have I ever, you decided to move on and I respect your choice.

Now can all parties drop this and move forward.

NO MORE ISSUES, do it privately by Email, not just Dan S. and Ron but all who wish to make an issue of this whole thing.

Just another personality conflict. It happens unfortunetly. Life is to short to hold grudges.

One of the guys that work for me was 2 blocks from the World Trade Center when the first Bldg. came down. Pete was going to go in the Bldg. to help his fellow Firefighters to save the people inside. He was covered in Bldg. dust and lucky to be alive.

Since then he has gone to at least 30 wakes/funerals for his friends that perished that day. It puts life in the proper prospective. So holding grudges it just aint worth it because at any moment our lives could be in jeopardy again. If you saw the Info I get almost Daily about possible future terrorist attacks while at my "Other Job" the thought of holding a grudge with friends and acquaintances just seems pointless.

Dan S. You won't be missed by me because I will read your post on the "Other" bb. Some others here may miss you because they may not go to the "Other" bb and for that its there loss. Thats why its not worth holding a Grudge because for those others that lose out.
 
to answer your question, I've never noticed that system to be turned off........the private messages are off......and thank God for that.......I hate private messages on the bbs.
