Riggin' a New Trailer; Now What?

I have been selling pressure washing jobs for some time to industrial customers. However; I am now doing my own thing and am building out my own unit. I have purchased the following:
  • 7'x12' Tandum axle (3500 lbs.) with brakes and bulldog hitch
  • a 3700 psi / 4gpm /cold water/ 13 HP Honda direct drive / this is the one you find at any home depot or lowes
  • 2 - summit 18" hose reels
  • 2 - 100' lengths of Non-Marking 4000 psi hose
  • 1- 24' extension wand
  • 1 - 325 gallon Tank
  • 1 -35 gallon solution tank
  • 1 - gutter attachment
 Now... I will pick up the trailer and tanks next week. I believe you need enough pressure on the low side to run the pressure washer, will the pressure from the water in the 325 gallon tank be enough for the input (LP) side of the washer to work? Or, do I need to pressurize the tank?

I know how to get the business? I know how to price the jobs? I know how to hire people to do the work? I just not sure how to build my own trailer.

All the work we are doing only requires cold water and when needed I can rent a really nice Hot water unit for $300.00 per week.

With a tank that size, it will supply the machine by gravity feed (water weight) for the most part. It might stop taking water a bit sooner than a belt-driven unit, but you shouldn't have any problems. Keeping the machine as close to the tank as possible and having the machine on the down-side of the bulkhead will help too.

Thanks for the feed back.

I am thinking of just doing residential cleaning; siding, driveways, and gutters. I was also planning to work with some of the farms and do wash-outs of animal stalls. Does anyone suggest any other items to my starter package as listed above?

Thanks
Tab..

Add a surface cleaner for flat work. The higher the water volume of the machine the faster you can clean. 8 gpm is a lot faster than 4. Upgrade when you can! Good luck. Check out what each of the chemicals clean first. Let the chem do the work not the pressure cleaner. JIM

Hello Tab,

Most farmers do not want you to use their wells for your supply of water. Your tank may not be large enough for this type of work to haul what you may need to complete a job like this without making several trips.

You really should get a hot water machine and at least 5 gpm flow. You will not need 3700 psi, 3000 would be fine.
