For as long as we have had a web site, I have got people asking me if I sold, or have any plans to sell, Roof Cleaning Franchises.
Lately, I was approached by a company that helps you put together Roof Cleaning Franchises.
They told me Apple Roof Cleaning would be an ideal candidate for them to put a Roof Cleaning Franchise together for.
At first, the idea seemed stupid to me, since you can get a lot of free roof cleaning info off the Internet.
And the price they are talking about selling the Apple Roof Cleaning Franchise for was pretty high.
But that could easily be made back and more, the first year.
At THIS time, I have no plans to offer roof cleaning franchises.
And I don't know if I ever will.
But they sure gave me something to THINK about !

If you rule out franchising, would you or do you offer 'roof cleaning consultancy'? Sell your expertise and knowledge - helping new businesses apply the correct methods to maximize their success.

If I had the resources (time and capital) I would definitely be knocking on the doors of guys like yourself and Don for consultancy services in roof cleaning.

I don't think their is a substitute for hands on coaching and training.
 
I HAVE thought about it Steve.
Like setting up a Pay Pal account, and charging by the hour.
I EASILY spend an hour, or MORE a day on the phone with those seeking roof cleaning training.
And, I "GET OFF" seeing guys like Scott, Jeffrey, and many others take what I showed them, and kick azz and take names.
Money cant BUY that kind of satisfaction :)
NONE of my current "students" would have to pay anything.
Their "education" will continue at no charge.
Hey, I am only THINKING out loud right now. :)
 
Chris, it's refreshing to hear that your motivation is based on the satisfaction of helping others and seeing them reap the rewards of them applying your advice...

My uncle works as a business consultant for Accenture and has led consultancy groups for the likes of Shell in Russia and Chubb security in Europe and North America... he tells me that he gets a buzz from seeing his work making a difference to their operation - BUT - enjoys the financial reward and benefits that it brings aswell!

are you doing a demo at the Florida RT? Would like to see your work!!

Steve, unfortunately the Florida RT is in Lakeland.
I dont do a LOT of work over there.
i MIGHT sign someone up there, give them a hell of a deal to use their home for a demo ?
We will see ?
 
Id pay even if you billed me for past consultations. Most of us would be a typical statistic by now if it werent for Chris. Thanks alot chris

I think their are plenty of people just starting out that would really benefit from the knowledge of the people that have already been to the school of hard knocks and figured it out. You old school guys should put something together covering all types of subjects from types of cleaning, to doing the books, marketing, and any other beginner mistakes everyone makes starting out. Do a seminar and then sell it on dvd. Just a thought.

I keep getting approached to start selling Roof Cleaning Franchises. I guess people want it made as turn key as possible ?
At this time, we offer Training and Certification here http://roof-cleaning-institute.activeboard.com/ and one on one consulting with me, if needed. Many of our members never cleaned anything before. They come from all walks of life. We were able to successfully train them to clean roofs, and run their own roof cleaning companies. Some were about to buy questionable Roof Cleaning Franchises, and would have been stuck with all kinds of restrictions, not to mention ongoing Franchise Fee's !
 
This is an old thread, but one of our Certified Roof Cleaners has decided to start selling roof cleaning franchises http://roof-cleaning-institute.acti...-certified-soft-wash-roof-cleaning-franchise/
He has developed a turn key softwash system, complete with a Skid, that will clean both roofs and exteriors.
It seems like an OK deal, for anyone looking seriously at starting their own roof cleaning business, and wants to take the turn key franchise route.
