Roof cleaning in the winter?

Hey guys it's starting to get colder in Greenville, SC and i was wondering can i clean roofs in cold temps? thanks

I would think you could, But dwell time may be a bit longer if you usually rinse, Doesn't the heat of the roof play a role in the effectiveness of the cleaning?

I don't rinse but I'm not sure about the heat.

You will need to make your mix stronger in cooler temps, and yes the heat has a major role in chemical activation. We never have that problem down here because of how freaking HOT it is all the time!!

Here in Virginia when temps get around 45 degrees or lower we mix 50/50 to get the best results with about 45 to 50 minutes dwell time. I always rinse unless near 32. Hope this helps.
