A 3500 sq. ft. two story tile roof cleaning we did yesterday in Winter Garden, FL, a suburb of Orlando.

Hey Russ, this is the one I was standing on when you called.

It was hotter than Hades out there!

Cool.....No biggie.

Van looks very professional, first class image. Roof looks perfect, but that's to be expected.

Thanks Tim, I appreciate it.

As you know, we've spoken at different times and I think you're a straight up guy, trying to do the same thing I am.....Deliver a top quality roof cleaning service in a top quality manner.

Professional image/professional results are what it's all about.

I gotta say it one more time....It was FREAKIN hot!!!

Be safe!
Don

I am curious about cleaning a tile roof like the one you just completed. Do you traverse the tile or do you clean it from a ladder position with fall protection and so on?

Hey Don, looks great. Remember what's it's like in February up here?

I'll trade you!

What's up, Rick!

You're gonna have to bring some more $ to the table for that one! ;)

That particular job was walked with no fall gear, but every situation is different.

How do you prevent cracking the tile?

Tile is like anything else, where as the quality will vary. But the best way to do it is either walk on the lower side of each where they overlap or in the valleys if they're barrel rather than flat.

Thanks - you be safe - thanks again

I really don't know how you guys walk those tile roofs. Anything over 6/12 we shoot from the gutter. I'm an old framer and we used to bust the ice off of the top plates in the winter to set joists and rafters. But we always had something to grab or a 28oz hammer to hook with.

If you slip on a tile roof with a wand you're gonna eat dirt or sand. You'll have plenty of time to think about it too. Not for the weak of heart.

Thanks for the good words, guys!

This is how we roll, J.C.

The enclosed trailer has two 325 gal tanks and two stacked hose reels with 300 ft. of 1/2" pliovic ag hose on each.

A 2nd trailer (open) is also used for pwing and smaller roofs. It has an 8 gpm hot water skid and a smaller 130 gal tank for roofs.
