Roof Sq Footage

This may seem like a stupid question but i cant seem to find the answer anywhere, not on this site or other powerwashing sites and when i do a search i get a ton of stuff that is irrelevant.

I am trying to figure out how much chemical i need for a particular job. lets say a roof is 1500 sq ft. How do u figure out how much chemical you would need to do the job? using the applesauce recipe what would the breakdown be?

You will use less than 50 gallons on a 15 sq, it comes with experience, no other way. Some roofs will take less than others and the one that you say "piece of cake" turn out to take twice as much as you thought. Murphy's Law.

Yep...we use a 125 gallon chem tank, but only fill it to 100, and we usually go through 80 - 90 gallons every 2 houses, average of 2500sqft...Sometimes less depending on how bad the roof is, sometimes more. We just make sure to always have 40 gallons minimum in our tank, and we have never run out.
