15 @ 1500 requires a #25 orifice. Standard nozzles are available in the #25 size, but in all my catalogs and sources, a #12 is the largest turbo nozzle available.
Russ, what do people typically purchase those dual turbo nozzle wands for? What are they cleaning?
Is it much better than a single turbo nozzle? I am asking this because you are splitting the flow between 2 nozzles instead of all the flow going to 1 nozzle.
It's split between 2 - #03 nozzle, which is the equivalent of a #06. So, for 5.5 @ 3500, you're covering nearly twice the area with the same machine. And, as I said, you can buy whatever size turbos you want to put on it. I don't know why Suttner only offers it with #03s, but they do.
That price is actually pretty good for us Canucks, or at least what I can get local. Each nozzle as shown separately is $90+, or it was 2 years ago local for me. So $215 for everything is really a good price when you look at what I would just spend on 2 turbo nozzles alone. Considering most of my work is heavy equipment and I run into things like rock trucks that have a lot of heavy mud I will be bugging you in the near future for this.
Thanks for sharing this, I would have never thought this would be possible otherwise.
