Rust and Battery Acid Stain

Hey guys I could use some ideas:

While running a job a customer asked me to look at his driveway it had a large stain where his golf cart batteries leaked and left acid and rust stains.
I gave it a shot and all I could do was dull it slightly. I first tried Clear Pink Stuff (Hydrofloric & Sulfuric Acid) in my pump up sprayer, I then tried Iron Out -sprinkled in power form on the large wet stain and scrubbed in and surfaced cleaned no luck. The home owner tried himself straight muratic acid and it didn't move.

Any ideas besides a nice paint color.

A carpet cleaner once told me "You know what the diffrence is between a spot and a stain- A spot I can get out."

I get Battery acid from Golf carts out all the time with Iron Out.
Did you put enough on and let it sit for 5-10 min before rinsing? Sometimes it takes 2-3 applications before it pulls the Rust out. I have done some that were just about impossible to get out completely but they did lighten up alot.

Maybe I should have used more and been more patient but it did not seem
to remove it. I was much duller but I was not happy with end result.

On many applications you have to add just a lite mist of water over it if your using the powder straight. Let it sit and then hit with another lite spray. you will see it lifting out as a mustard color. Each time you keep putting a lite rinse on it it will keep lifting out more. Funny, With all the rain we are getting right now I bet you go back tomorrow and look at it and its gone. LOL.
