So I had been running a secondary balanced relief valve off of a K7 flow actuated unloader valve for reducing flow (and higher temps) during indoor kitchen cleaning jobs. Recently I switched to pressure trap unloaders, VTR-3's, for a siamese kit. I reinstalled the secondary balanced relief valve off one of the bypass ports on the pressure trap unloader but it doesn't seem to be working the same (reducing pressure and flow) as it did when installed on the flow actuated unloader. Am I missing something? Should it work?
