Shingle Roof Cleaning Florida

This is a Shingle roof we Cleaned In Riverview last Thursday. The customer called us back after we had done a paint prep on their commercial Bldg. a few months ago and asked if we could Clean their Roof. The original job was given to me by Chris Tucker of Apple Roof cleaning because he doesn't do Pressure washing. I called him to let him know that they called me and he was swamped with work and told me to go for it knowing especially that they needed Pressure Washing done besides their Roof which is why they called me back in the first place. I was planning on shooting it from a ladder because the customer had told me that the Roof had a bit of a pitch to it but when we arrived I found that their was alot of debris (leaves, branches etc...) on the Roof and in the valley's so we had no choice but to walk it to blow off all the debris and found that it wasn't too bad so I decided to just stay up there to clean it. We also did a complete House Wash, Concrete, and back Patio Cleaning for them. It's always nice when a customer appriciates your work and calls you back to do more work for them.

I love getting calls back from customers for more work. Recently we cleaned the concrete and outside of a metal building that sold marine equipment. rubber boats rafts, motors, etc... About a week later the president of the company called me and asked if we could do his house too. Picked up the roof, driveway sidewalks, patios front and back, gutters and house wash. He was out of town when we cleaned his house and was blown away when he got home. We'll hear from him again.

Thanks Scott. Thanks Russ. Ya know its funny...Ya just never know who your dealing with. I run into jobs where the H/O ownes other properties all the time and never find out until I'm done. I always try to do my best no matter what but it sure is nice when you do a great job and they tell you they need something else looked at and cleaned. I just called to confirm a cleaning for a guy in the morning and his voice mail picked up. I didn't know until then that he is a Realtor...I will definitly be giving it my all on his job! :)

Same thing happen to me this week. This guys wife called me and I did a roof cleaning which turned out great due to everyone here.I go back to get paid and the husband pulls me aside and tells me he owns a title company that takes care of all realtors in the area and the realtors assoc. He said that he wants brouchers made up from me ASAP and before and after pics so he can bring these to the realtors ass.board meetings. Thanks for the help from everyone here....

Go joob on the roof Larry, that color shingle can be a pain. Call backs and people spreading the word about your services is the reward for all your hard work.

Looks good Larry, keep up the good work.

good job as usual Larry

Hey Russ, I hope all is well with ya buddy. We missed you at the R/T, and you missed a great time. ;)

Great Job Larry !!

Thanks guys. I appriciate the kind words. I'm just sorry that I wasn't able to make it to the MB-RT. I would really like to meet alot of you guys. I'm hoping to be able to make it to one soon. :)

Nice Job Larry,

That was the miracle of referrals at work. I agree, Call backs ARE great! No advertising needed, the customer is already sold on your quality work and wants more of it!

Beautiful! Man, I wish EVERYDAY was referral or call back day, wouldn't that be nice?

BTW, that was really very cool of Chris from Apple Roof Cleaning to turn you on to that job. That is what this industry needs more of. Instead of some being such cutthroats at times, it would sure be nice to make more friends in the industry I grown to really LOVE over the last two decades.

Larry, I can't get over how cool that was of Chris, giving you his job because he doesn't pressure wash, and to another (competitor) but one who can use the work when he's too busy. That is exceptional. I ought to try that more, although, there isn't really anyone around me that does roofs, other than Tallahassee, FL.s Tim A. of www.softwashing.com You know, (I'm rambling and thinking out loud) I HAVE been meaning to give him a buzz anyway. From All Tim's posts on this and other boards Tim A. seems like a smart, decent guy and a good businessman and I look forward to meeting him one day soon. Well Larry, now you have got me feeling altruistic, so next time I am in a crunch I'll call Tim up and spread the Love. LOL Anyway, again great job Larry and nice pictures!
