Small Cedar Fence with Cedar Dark

Here is a small 1500 Lft with new cedar fence with top cap I stained Fri and finished today. I stained it with Gray Away Cedar Dark and took 65 gallons. I was able to get about 140 sqft/gallon which is great being I was dealing with a 20-30 mph wind.

It's nice to have a fence builder to get jobs like this since he doesn't want to mess with it.

I usually don't get less than 1200 Lft fence jobs from him!

Great job on the fence Shane and great pictures like always.

How do you keep the stain from getting on the ground? Plastic sheets? Boards? Tarps?

Great job Shane. We did one a couple years ago that was 2200 ft. It took 5 days to power wash and stain it all.

Thanks George!

2200 lft is a lot of fence my wrist is sore thinking about it! It would have been nice to have help on this fence but it was only me lots of walking. It was all new so there was no cleaning even tho I recommend it to them I just don't have a warranty when they want only stain.

Thanks Chris..

Well I'll use cardboard when I have grass to protect but this was wide open dirt only the columns I had to protect with cardboard.

The wind was so bad today the stain didn't have time to hit the ground!

That really came out nice!!

Thanks John!

These are nice jobs to knock out fast and a good sqft/gallon numbers really help! I could have finished it in 1 day if I would have had another pump spraying.
