This thought has been bouncing around in my head for a while.
Ok use your imagination, if you had two clamps that you clamped to each end of the hood, then attached to the clamps you have bar of somekind running the length of the hood, with rubber on the wall side of the bar.
Now the bar is levered (if that's the correct word) so you can press it against the wall and lock it in place. This should give you a water tight seal and a place to clamp plastic. Never again the need to tear up the caulking to tuck plactic.
I've thought of many reasons why it won't and why it will work.
It's time for research and developement, or to forget about it.
What do you think? Idea's welcome
