Sprinter Van Set-up

The problem with the box trucks mentioned is payload vs the sprinter. Those E350's/Savanha 3500's typically have a 3600 lb payload, which is very little when it comes to our industry as water is heavy. If you can get water from site then these trucks will work for you, if you have to carry water you can only legally carry 1.5-2 hours worth of water taking into account your machine is 5 gpm or higher.

Those sprinter vans with the dually's can hold 5000+ lbs payload typically from what I have read. My only change that I would do is to get one of those trays that slide out the back and put the pressure washer setup and hose reels on that. When you get to site, open the doors roll out the pressure washer and no worries about venting or fumes. Put the water tank infront of the tray and the rest of the equipment infront of that. For a small run around the city enclosed vehicle these things are awesome.

Ron, did you compliment Scott on his Sprinter set-up around 11:30a yesterday, Monday March 11, 2013? That post started in 2006.

I was looking at a great rig for sale on this board yesterday, went to call the seller until I realized THAT post was from '08! Very frustrating, I have made that mistake many times.
