I am currently using a ZEP product X575, 5 gal pail. Kinda sounds like a Nzai rocket doesnt it? Anyway it is pretty good but the shipping is way to much.
What are you all using?

wd-40, cheap and handy!

Yep..........

and if you really want...

...to restore the stainless to that brand new - brushed look...

...take a scotch brite pad and a vibrating sander with the square head - cut the pad so it is the same size as the head of the sander - wet the pad and start sanding in one direction. Just like new. Then Sheila Shine it.

Dave,
The ZEP x575 is a total of $17.00 per gallon including shipping. That is in a 5 gallon pail. Perhaps I should rethink my comment about it being too expensive.

I use Sheila Shine, I get it through Hesco.com for $19.59 a gallon. Have to get a case (4) at a time.

I use a product called Mirrortone. I have been useing for years-red in color and does not smell like jet fuel. Merit Janitorial @ 916-421-9112 cs. of 4 @ $70.91 plus shipping

wd4o rocks till....

wd 40 rocks !!!!
hey russ , the crap does shine allright , but did you ever read da label . " Warning contains petroleum based product" . seems to me that this wouldn't be too acceptable . especially above an exhaust flue on an old fryer. lol , did ya ever watch it burn ? If you can check out a cheapo @ "Rona" Stainless polish ' just place it on yer rag an yer shining . amazing when compared to all other we tried . read of others using Zep S.S polish . Caution "read da label " .

plastic is a protroleum based product, I put it over fryers every day!

Use a lint free Rag and Baby Oil... Oh How has everyone been ... I bet yall thought I gave up and Quit. Well I Did For one whole week I quit Cleaning and Quit doing Fire Equipment.. And I noticed that all of my old customers started calling me wanting there hood cleaned once they heard I was Closing so I guess I will do this until >>>>>>>>>Well just until >>>>>UNTIL UNTIL...

Just wanted to say HI.. Well got to go to work tonight so I will be back soon ...

I don't know about shining aluminum with WD40. If it's satin aluminum, use brightener. If it's polished and hasn't been etched, use F102. If it's supposed to be polished and isn't, use a buffer and polishing compound. I've seen those balls to put on a drill from Mother's...don't know if they're any good or not. BTW, another good stainless rejuvinator is water based vinyl dressing. I use it on reconditioned pressure washers to make them shine.

Zep Shine works great. I pick it up at our local zep supply house. Tried Mirror Tone, not to impressed. SS is weak in comparison. IMHO

Sheila Shine - $23.66/gal at a local supply house.
