I almost forgot again bout taking pictures.

This is a polished pete that came out off tex'as,said alot of rain even a little hail got him.
But this is a new stainless steel trailer, cost him 33000.00,he said he started to have it washed out on the road but knew Triple L would do a better job than the truckwahes haha.I told him I wish he had got it washed out on the road b/c I don't like washing stainless steel,I sure didn't have 33000.00 if I screwed it up,,he said please don't put any acid on it,,,,why not I have acid made for stainless steel,,,you do,,,sure man I got chemicals to clean anything but don't think it will clean up without brushing and I ant brushing,,,,will do the best you can,,,,ok hurry up and get out of here so I can put acid on it hahaha.I forgot to take a after pic but will Sunday,no I did not brush it.

I think I know the reason why he didn't get it washed out on the road.
I wash alot of one,two up to 15 trucks in a fleet and I leave seftaddressed envelopes.I've always had a picture of a 18 wheeler on the return envelope but lately I have gone to putting two of the trucks I wash on them,,,guess he's wanting his picture on them too, hahahahaha ant I crazy for thinking it would help, some have gone to washing every week as to every two weeks just b/c so and so's trucks where on there.

I love my dig cam'ra,,,ifen I could just remember to snap a pic.

Even doing the farmers the same way hahahaa.

Dang sandman never around when you want him but if you didn't want him around he'd be there throwing sand like crazy.

Great marketing idea with the digital photos on the envelopes. Sort of makes em want to "keep up with the Jones'", huh? At least we got to see your shadow in the photo!!

you ever try stepping on the head of your shadow.

I print my own envelopes,I like the program I have 'Business printing solutions'.I print 10 envelopes and change the trucks, print 10 more change trucks.I think they are even changing envelopes with each other out there b/c I'm getting to many just plain envelopes lately lol.

I felt pretty proud of myself this morning b/c I had brought the dig'camra in to charge the battery last night,I usually forget it when I do that but hey I thought of it this morning.I was working my way to where the stainless steel trailer was setting, washed 4 before I got there.By this time the sun was pretty and warm and I thought hey this is going to be a O K picture for the envelopes, will It didn't take long before I felt like a dum ass again,I had forgoten the floppy.I thought hey there is one in the truck I think cuzz I put an extra in there just for stuff like that,as I was going back to the truck I was hope'ing I hadn't been a dum ass before and done used it,,,looked,,,,,looked,,,looked,,,looked,, guess what,,,,,you don't see NO after picture do ya.

Hey dont feel too bad Bigboy you think we all haven't done something like that before. I forget little things like that all the time and I'm only 24 yrs old imagine when I get old, you should see my book I have EVERYTHING written in there and I mean everything. I think its this tough physical labor that frys our mind and makes you forget all kinds of stuff that will just make you blow your stack about how you forgot. I have lots of post it notes I keep around too so I wont forget the little things I remember the night before, Cause I'm not rich enough to have a pocket pc like alot of the other guy's I figured the digi was enough for now !

See ya around, Andrew:cool:

Oh Yeah the shadow thing NEVER HAPPEN! Tried for years when I was a kid.(hehe):p

It sounds like you know and are doing a good job of washing SS. So go ahead and us a little hf and it will clean up with out brushing. If however you use too strong of brightner it will burn the SS brown just like Caustic will burn polished aluminum.

If stainless steal is turned brown, can it be restored? Or is it junk?

I have not run into any stainless that was brown, just dark and dirty and it cleaned up good.

Aluminum that has been "browned" by caustic based cleaners can be cleaned up, I have done some wheels and tanks that were improperly cleaned by a previous contractor and got them looking good again.

Depending on the brand of chemicals, you should always be careful with what you are doing and not try too strong of a mix.

If it is an acid burn, polishing doesn't remove it. We have a company near here that refurbishes used SS milk hauling trailers. When the SS is burned (brown) they replace each panal that is damaged with a new one. I don't think there is much that can be done once the damage has occured.
