Stripped housing on AR rk1528HN. Options?

So, I traded a buddy for a used Hydrotek. I took the whole thing apart to clean up some rust on the frame. While putting it back together I realized that someone had used the wrong pitch 5/16" bolt for two of the four bolts used for mounting. The housing had two stripped holes and in attempting to run a tap in them I blew a hole into casing! It appears the casing is very thin at the bottom of the factory mount taps... so it's an AR RK1528 HN. From the outside the housing appears to be flipable, could i just flip the internals, pump head, oil dip/drain, etc. and then weld the hole in the stripped housing tap? Can I buy a new housing? Or should take this opportunity to upgrade to a whole new unit? Thanks in advance for any help.

It is "flippable", but keep in mind that the rods have to be kept in the same order and in the same orientation. The rods develop wear patterns with the crank, and if they don't go back exactly as they were, the pump will probably be locked up after you torque everything down.

Or I can get you a new housing...or a new pump.

Let me know if I can help.

One thing that I have learned over the years is sometimes it is much cheaper to buy a new pump then try to fix what you have! Just for the fun what size pump is on the machine? Then Russ or Paul can give you a price on replacing it!

I went through the entire pump today. The pump had 3 bad valves/valve o-rings and a hairline cracked plunger. Came up with an easy fix for the blown out case, i used allen set screws and just plugged the holes. Turned out clean and simple hopefully it seals well. I did a full case flip, swapping all the pistons to keep them in the same orientation on the crank. Here are some pics.

I forgot to take pics of the allen set screw fix.
What are your guy's suggestions for purchasing a valve kit and plunger kit? Dultmier? One of you guys on here distribute for AR parts?

LOL Russ... I sent a PM telling him that we carried the AR pump stuff too. I dont have the catalogs at this office yet, but told him to call Pete or Mike at Home office.

I would like to at least salvage this pump for a backup if nothing else , thats why im throwing a few bucks and a few hrs. at it. Its 4gpm and 4000 psi. I ended up just ordering some parts from Dultimier cause I had the catalog in front of me. I'll keep all you guys in mind for the future, just needed to get the ball rolling.
