Surface cleaner advice

Getting ready to purchase a surface cleaner next week and had a few questions about the diameter of the cleaner in relation to my machine. I have a 13hp honda that pumps 4000 psi at 4 gpm. From what I have read on hear in other posts I should not really go over a 16 inch cleaner or smaller. If that be the case does aanyone have any suggestions on brands of cleaners ? I really dont want to buy junk so I thought I would get some advise. Ive been looking at the Mi-t-m, the BE whirl away, Cam Spray, Jet wash. I have set aside about 5 to 800 dollars for one, any thoughts ?

I have a 12" mosmatic with a 4gpm machine and it works good. It's kind of slow going, but does the job. It will tiger stripe if you go to fast so I would say a 16" would be worse with a 4gpm. Kleen rite has it for $333.00.

I pre treat also and that helps from tiger stripping. But until you get a bigger machine and surface cleaner it is what it is. Lol.

We run 4 GPM machines with whisper washer classics and have no problem. Like Darrel said, ya not gonna run with it but they do just fine.

I can recommend the whirl a way. I've had mine about 3 years, and it's still going strong. Just make sure if you get the BE, you get one with a greasable swivel. Mine is a 20", but I didn't like how ridiculously slow I had to walk with it when I had 4 GPM. I would recommend the 16" for you.

Geez, it's funny how quickly some people become so snobby when they have 8 GPMs!!

Don't want to run more than 4 GPM on residential around here because the soils are typically at full mositure capacity and more GPMs just leads to flooding that really slows you down.

Wasn't trying to be snobby. You asked for advice, and I was trying to help based on my experience. When I was running 4 GPM, I wished I had a smaller surface cleaner so I could move faster.

The classic is one of the most popular surface cleaners out there for many reasons, it will serve you well.

You could also go a size smaller like a 17" or 16", it is up to you.

It is a good thing that you are reading, there is a lot of great info here on PWI that will help you in many ways and shorten the learning curve.

Josh, I was only teasing. I know how much you like your new machine. My bad, I guess I should have added a LOL. Sorry.

Also, I wasn't the one asking for advise.
