Just want to check my math. What is the correct nozzle size for surface cleaner with 3 nozzles with a pump that is producing 3000 psi and 5 gallons a minute.???

Also has anyone run zero degree nozzles on a surface cleaner. I have some heavy restraunt grease i need to make disapear.

Thanks,

That would be a number 6 nozzle so you divide that by 3 since you have a 3-nozzle spray bar so you would use 3 of the #2 spray nozzles.

I would prefer a 2-nozzle spray bar so you have more gpm's hitting the surface.

I tried a 3 nozzle spray bar with 3000psi and 5.5gpm and it did not seem to clean as good or as fast as my 2-nozzle spray bar surface cleaners.

Unless you know for sure that the concrete is very strong, I would not use zero degree nozzles on concrete, very few times I have seen concrete that could handle that kind of impact outside of parking garages and warehouse floors and mechanic garages. If the concrete is very old like 30+ years it might be strong but I would not guess at it, do a little test spot to see how strong the concrete is before you try large areas.

Good luck.
