Charles from the Jacksonville area was the winner of the awesome skid that Russ at Southside Equipment and Rich at Seal 'n Lock put up for us contractors. Thanks again to you both for making this available for us to try and win. I noticed that this unit is for sale on Craigslist. Here is the link:

That skid would already be dirty if I had won it I can tell you that. :thud:

That is a great unit. Hydro Teks are some of the best built and best thought thru machines I see in the industry. They put things where you can actually service them with out tearing stuff down (like filters where you can get to them, and oil drains where you can actually catch the oil rather than let it run down the skid. The unloader is up high where you can adjust it the pumps are acessable on the head with out removing it and they use emporer series pumps as well)

If it's been up since the 27th and it's now the 6th I'm surprised he hasn't got any bites on it.

If I was in Florida I'd offer him $3500 cash for it. At this point I think he might take it. Depends on how bad he wants to sell it.

It would'nt be dirty because u got no room for it on your pussy little girly trailer. :sarcastic: Maybe there should be a stipulation on winning a hotwater skid? Like maybe you do Hotwater Cleaning and u can really use it?

Thats like a slap in the face, there were plenty of guy's there that would have loved to have won that to expand their buisness, but didn't have the money to purchase one. So if you come to a R/T to learn how to pick up accounts and grow your company, why the hell would you sell the skid

That's exactly what I was thinking! PS: @ Nick... With the footprint on that skid I would have been able to slide it into my pussy little girly trailer. Hahaha! If not, I would have had a new big manly trailer within 2 days. :slap:

+10 Couldn't have said it better Nick! Thanks.

THAT SUCKS, Shame on him

There is no way I would do something like that.

There is way to many contractor's that could use it to grow their bussiness.

The ones that need a break like that don't get.

I think that it is very disrespectful to the organization turn around and sell it.

What a bummer but its his right to do what he wants with it because its his. He should have took from what was said above the $5000 instead of the skid. The sad thing about this is that the company that donated the skid now really can't market how well the winner did with the skid. I knew this would happen sooner or later....bummer

Nick the guy only wants to clean roofs.I knew the second he sold the 12" vac surface cleaner to Steven Button for less that 1/2 of retail he wouldn't keep the skid. You are right some of us would have loved to won the skid to expend.

Heck with Roof cleaning..... I am trying to get out of that business.

Alexy brought up a good point. If one of us buys it, is there a warranty that comes with it? I believe it has never been turned on and still has the hose and gun that came with it strapped to the skid.
