greg... I'm looking forward to the DRY feet... although, I do have my 'snazzy' white boots!!

Nigel... got the 2 arm version, don't know about the length of hose to swivel - whatever the standard is, 9gpm is correct, looking forward to seeing this puppy run!

thanks for the feedback guys - I've only heard good things about the big guy, I'm sure I'll like it!

Steven I meant the internal diameter (i.d.) of the hose. is it a 3/8 hose?

Did you consider the 3 bar? With 9 gpm it may be worth considering or at least testing.(hint, hint :) )

Has anyone compared the 2 to the 3 bar at around 9gpm on the "big guy" surface cleaner?

Looking forward to your comparison to the Hydro twister

Steve, if it were me, I would get 4 bars. In any case, try everything I say, then you know for yourself what really works for you. I think two bars wears on the cement. I would rather chew off an arm than not be able to move in every direction on casters but to each his own! It sure is satisfying to leave that big wide swath of clean isn't it?

Ahhhh! Nothin like a new toy. I've had mine for about 3 yrs now and love it. Good Luck with it steve! :)

Did you measure that path Larry?
Russ said 26" ( actual cleaning path)
No I did not measure it. If it will make your day then that will be the first thing I do tomorrow....LOL...(if i remember) I will even text you my results! :D

I still haven't seen a video of a 4 gpm machine running that - LARRY :D
That's why I can't measure the clean path. There isn't one! Hahaha! J/K Boy,,,your gonna have me busy tomorrow. Measuring, videos....When do I get to do any work? :D

I was going to measure the cleaning path of mine but I forgot that the bearings went out. They did not last long, especially if it sits for a while.

With that brand, if you do not have a lot of work, put some mineral oil into the hose until it comes out the nozzles and spin it some so the bearings get lubricated.

With the hard water we have here, I have had 2 swivels go out from lack of use (hard water deposits on the bearing surfaces) so when you go to use them, the bearing surfaces get chewed up and do not work too good.

I need to learn how to sell so I can have more work so I am not having to rebuild swivels every few months.

What is really strange is my 24" Steel Eagle has never had any work done to the swivel and it is 5 years old. That is one very good quality swivel.

I might go with another brand of swivel and make it adapt to the Classic and Big Guy. This rebuilding is getting very old fast!

Sorry about the rant.
