Tile Roof Cleaning Clearwater Florida.

This is a job we did on Saturday. Its a Non Pressure Tile Roof Cleaning in for the Feather Sound Square Plaza in Clearwater Florida. Previously they had me Pressure Wash all the Concrete walks surrounding Plaza and decided it was time to Clean the Roofs. The tiles have/had a textured paint on them but through harsh Pressure Washing and weathering over the past 20 plus years the color has become very worn and faded in spots. Still, they came out very clean and the owner and PM were very happy with the results. they were Cleaned aprox 3 yrs ago using high pressure and it took 2 guys 4 1/2 weeks to clean them. We were able to knock them out with 4 people in 13 hrs. This place is pretty big and it's hard to capture all the areas with pictures but here are a few.

Tile Roof Cleaning Clearwater Florida

Here are a couple more pics. We started this job at 6:30am and were wraping up at 7:15pm. It was a long day for sure but we had fun doing it. My wife and a friend took care of covering and rinsing plants and walkways as my helper and I moved along in the lift bucket. It was a good system and worked out well. Joe from Amen even stopped by to see how we were doing. It was probably the only break we took all day. It was really good to see him.

What kind where they Larry?

My wife is a watering, covering everything is going to die worry wort. Not that it's a bad trait to have. Since she has been helping me I haven't so much as burnt a blade of grass. I belive they were a non verigated pitisporum. :) There were many other sensitive annuals planted thoughout the landscape. I will go back and get the names of them for you tomorrow after work. Thanks David! :D

Its all good Larry.

We should put together a list of chem friendly plants so to speak... Like the PW cookbook.

Good morning David. :)
I think that would be a good idea. Only problem is that I think the book may be pretty empty. LOL... We could have a nice front and back cover to it though. I think a book on NON chem friendly plants and bushes would have much more content. We could even fill it with with sample dead dried flowers etc... LOL:D Just messin with you David!
I do know that many palms and hedges are much more resistant to the chems than others but in most cases I don't like to take a chance with them. Normally I just water, water and re-water everything down. This particular job had alot of different types throughout the landscaping and is a very high traffic area during the week. Many offices, resturaunts etc... I couldn't take the chance of not covering certain things.

Larry Millette,

These jobs you do are impressive Larry. Your equipment very simple and not complicated, each day you have plenty of work.

Congratulations on your new house too buddy. Hope I can eventually come see soon.

Thanks Ron. We are absolutely loving the new house and carol and I are both looking forward to having you over.

We actually go by this plaza where we did the roof cleaning just about everyday on the way to the shop. I'm actually impressed with my own work. Hahaha! The roof still looks as good as when we first cleaned it almost 2yrs ago.

I love it, just ask youself how good you are!!

Looks great Larry! Im am deff looking into getting into the more larger commercial roof cleaning jobs. I just finished a 16 buildings (3 story) Shingle apartment roof cleaning in bradenton back in january(found me thru my website), and want to venture off into the apartment building industry. any advise on contacting jobs in the sarasota area? Do i speak with property managers or the owner of the complex? If so whats the best way of finding their contact information
