Tony wanted a video of my poor impoverished operation.

I have to laugh about that video. First, Russ was there, who no doubt knows more then I do about pumps, but as I was rebuilding the pump, he was a perfect gentleman, only adding in things occasionally to clarify what I was trying to say. He is a class act. Then there was Jim, showing what he does, (Or does not) know about equipment, even though he was claiming 17 or 18 years in business at that time. I just think it is interesting to look at what happened at that round table in retrospect.

I second that about Russ being a class act!

This is a great thread! I am so encouraged by reading this. I am ready to start my business tomorrow! Thanks for posting Scott!

With the pickups, and my truck, we are at 27. I do have a Chevy flat bed that is or sale. Runs like a top, just has 200,000 miles. When that sells I will be down to 26.

The thing that not many understand is that Scott didn't start this thread to show off or brag about his business (Although he has every right to), he's not that kind of person. He's posting this in response to remarks & insinuations by a couple of Contractors (Terms used loosely) about his business that have been made over the last few years, he's actually defending himself against those remarks and the small minded, insignificant, envious low lifes that aren't worthy of mention that made them.

I for one applaud you Scott. The business you have built is a testament to your hard work, smart business savvy, and honest business ethics.....and all the while taking time out to help other Contractors with different problems they may have with their businesses. We need a few more "Scott Stones" in this Industry with that type unselfishness.

You didn't need to defend yourself Scott, myself and several more already knew this about you......but I understand "Why" you felt the need to do it, it was personal.

Good For You Buddy!!!

I can see a couple of guys reading this (yes they probably still visit here) and stomping their feet, shaking their fists screaming like children "It's Not Fair!" and having a hissy fit after reading this thread then back to saying lies about some here and more nonsense like usual.

I have been static. We are getting ready to market some different areas, and hope to be able to add 8 employees. We will probably just run the trucks on double shifts, though.

That the Way to get the MAX out of them.

Excellent. I have it tuned in enough that last week I worked over night to clean parking garages, and only received a call one time all week. We had four trucks go down in a twelve hour period. I got a resolution, and they were either kept in house with our mechanic, or sent out to someone that could handle heavier work, and I went back to sleep.

Of course, everyone complained because their week was harder because they don't realize what I do as I sit at my desk surfing the internet, but that is a different type of complaint.

Scott I heard about you.

Two words to describe your impoverished fleet: WOW--IMPRESSIVE!

Yep, there is no money in government work.
