On the trailer with the 16's, I just replaced the wheels. I always run heavier axles and springs. Usually a minium of 10k. I might try and be like Jim, next trailer I buy and go 12k, but that is only if it is as loaded with equipment as this trailer is. The tires are 16 inch BFG commercial TA's, just like the ones that people put on their trucks. I used to always buy trailer tires, but have had absolutely zero trailer tire problems since I put these on.
