Tree sap removal

Hi everyone! Could someone tell me how to remove tree sap from a new wooden deck that has been sealed. I tried to remove it with just hot water of 210 degrees and pressure of over 3000 psi and i removed a little of the wood instead. Is there a chemical that I could use or does the deck need to be sanded and resealed? I have to get back to the customer by tomorrow, so your suggestions and response will be appreciated.

Thank you

if the sap is bleeding from a knot or anywhere from INSIDE the wood[not dripped on from another tree] then its going to bleed. No chem can fix that permenetly.
As the wood shrinks it forces out the sap.
replace the board or maybe turn it over.

Oak Tree was cut

Thanks for your response guys, but what happened is that the tree was cut a little and the sap bleed from the cutting. I also have not use the chemical D-limolene, where can I get it.

Thanks,

Keith

Keith, Try a local chemical supplier or some of the companies mentioned on this board. There are many companies listed in CLEANER TIMES OR BLASTMASTER MAGAZINE that sell chemicals. This is a product we sell but I don't want to give the impression this is a sales pitch, it is not. I was accused of that unjustly on another board. For those who thought that of me all I can do is pray for them . You should not judge anyone that thinks different than you do.
