Trigger guns.

Usually the rebuild kit is about 1/2 the price of the gun.

I have a kit I will be trying to rebuild a gun this week and see how hard it is to do.

Guns just don't seem to last long, that is why I use a ball valve to stop the flow on most tools I use.

I normally get about a year out of the Suttner 2605 relaxed action guns. I have a spare and a rebuild kit that I keep in the toolbox though as well.

I will get over a year on the Arrow Line AL-35 gun and keep 4 in active rotation (with different lance lengths and types on them). The gun will start "weeping" after 4-6 months when the stainless steel ball develops "pits" in it and then I will just replace this ball with a ceramic one that I ordered at the same time as the gun. After that, I won't have any more problems with this gun until the trigger fails or an employee drops and breaks it. I will then reuse the ceramic ball on the next AL-35. I like the Suttner 2605 as well and have two of them as backups. I think all guns should come with a ceramic ball IMO.

I have 6 "Giant" guns. I get 6 months to a year out of most of them before they start leaking. Rebuild kits are around 4 or 5 bucks. I keep all my guns the same so I can rebuild them from 1 kind of kit. I have rebuilt the so many times that I can do one in about 10 minutes if I have to.
