Trouble obtaining insurance

Is anyone else having trouble obtaining insurance for the first time? My son and are just getting started in the roof cleaning business. What should we expect to pay on an estimated 40K+ gross estimate?

Some may not cover roof cleaning. Or your rates could be real high if you are telling them roof cleaning only. Anything to do with roofs can be up there in price.

I was talking to my insurance guy and we are paying $13.88 per $100 for Work Comp and he was telling me the roofers are paying something like $45 per $100 ouch

Thanks, Russ

Your advice on the Joe Walter's Agency was great. Although Che Che was not in, Bonnie was a great help. It is nice to talk to someone that understands the powerwash business. Again, Thanks!

Tamco Insurence They have me for 800 and some change a yr at 1 million liability with a 250 deductable

I go with Hartford. I was able to get 2mil yr for only like $365. Now I am a one man show so once you add in different variables I am sure that will change. I am also finding commercial contracts want to see that policy up front. If you want some more info PM me or just shoot me an email. Not many places will insure a power washing operation due to the high risk factor I was finding out. Go figure.
