Type Of Vehicle Ins.?

As hard as it is finding powerwashing insurance, I have found it even
harder finding vehicle insurance for my business. It seems that insurance companies dont have a insurance code for powerwashing, so I might just shop for new Co. and just tell them I am a painter, now for that you can get
vehicle insurance. anyone else have this problem.?

I have a business vehicle policy through erie ins. i told my agent i used my truck to pull my trailer for pw and they didnt ask any more questions. my business policy that covers my business is a painting and pw policy. they wont write a new policy like this they have changed. they now have one for pw and 1 for painting.

So far that has been the most aggrevating thing for me trying to get stared up.. Insurance agents not calling me back.. Requested quotes from 5 diffrent agents 2 weeks ago, got a quote from one a follow up call for more info from one and nothing from the others. When I mention liability insurance and hey ask for what kind of business, I reply Pressure Washing, there is a dead silence for a few seconds on the phone then a well I will have to check and call you back.

That tells me 1 of 2 things, either this business still has allot of growth left in it (good for us) or there are allot of operations running fly by night with no insurance (bad for us)

I have my truck ins. with Progessive. I did not have any trouble with them.

I think both are correct, there is room for growth (depending on your area) and there are a lot of fly-by-night operations. I know several here in town who don't have insurance and don't have a license. The good thing is that most commercial accounts are going to require proof of insurance.
