Hi guys this is just my second post on here but I have been reading a ton of posts over the past few months that has brought me up to speed on Pressure washing as well as Roof Cleaning. I live just outside of the Kansas City Area and for the life of me I can't find anyone that does roof washing..... Good for me I would hope. My question is How am I going to penetrate this market and grow a business when people have never seen it done and don't have a whole lot to compare it to? I have even considered doing some jobs for friends and family at discount rates aka cost of material but even they aren't to convinced I can clean all these black streaks off the roof.
One day when I was drivng around and saw a roofing crew I thought I would stop and play "the dumb consumer" I talked with the owner and said " boy that roof was bad! Look at all that black stuff! I bet the roof was leaking bad wasn't it?" He told me that there was nothing wrong with the roof and that the stains could have been removed and the roof would look good as new which led me into my next question " Well who does that around here" He just laughed and said "Noone that I know of!"
I know there is money to be made out there and I intend to be the one making it. Just gotta ask for advice and help to get there!
