Unloader & relief valve questions

I am trying to set my pressure on this machine I just built. 19 horse Kohler and GP TSF2021 with a green spring unloader. I pulled the trigger on my gun and set the psi at about 1500-1600 and when let off it is around 1800 or so. The issue is that now when I pull the trigger the relief valve blows off with a nice steady stream comes out of the valve. Before when I had it set at 1200 with trigger pulled it only spit out the relief valve when I let off. What gives. I have the relief valve plumbed into a tee that runs right out of the outlet of the pump before going to the unloader.

I would load a pic but it still won't allow me to load any.

Bingo! LOL. I got to looking at it and I unscrewed it with my fingers. I pretty much tightened it up with my fingers and gave it about a 1/4 turn with an allen wrench and it bottomed out. This is my first relief valve so it is all new to me.
