Hey guys, I am getting ready to plumb my tanks into my machine, and was curious if it mattered where I put the fitting for the HO's water, upstream from the tank, or downstream of the tank. I just did not want to hurt or cavitate the pump if there is not enough flow from the HO's water supply, and just wanted to make sure that the buffer tanks would do their job properly. If the tank runs dry, it will cause cavitation, which is bad for the pump.
 
Plumb into the top of your buffer tank and put a float valve on it.
